Gus's Story...
Hello I'm Gus! Are you looking for a buddy to go on walks or runs with you then chill with you on the couch? Then I'm your guy! I love to run and play so I hope my forever home has a large back yard maybe even with another dog to play with or a hooman to throw the ball! My foster mom says I am a very smart dog in that I know lots of commands and am crate trained. I am terrific with dogs, cats and hoomans of all sizes! If you like a smart dog with lots of play and energy, I'd love to meet you! Gus is fostered in Huntsville, AL, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gus, a Marietta Hound (Unknown Type)/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Pointer for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Pointer dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Pointer breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
