Layla's Story...
Layla was living on the streets with a pack of stray and feral dogs. Now, she is living the sweet life and being fostered in Birmingham, Alabama. She is about 3 months old and close to 25 lbs. and has the most beautiful and expressive wrinkly face. Layla is going to be a big beautiful girl when she is grown, probably around 60-80 lbs. Because of her beginnings, she is shy and takes a little while before she trusts new folks but that is getting better and better every day. She is doing great with her potty training but still has accidents if she is not brought out to potty a lot or if she gets excited. She is a chewer and needs lots of bones, chew toys and rawhides to keep that under control. She also likes to chew on and tug shoelaces, so hide your shoes. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Layla, a Homewood Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
