Crisco's Story...
Crisco, Kitlain and Onyx are brothers -- can be adopted separately or together.
They were born outside and they're exceptionally nice boys who decided they love people.

I've been rescuing stray animals for over forty years.
All my cats come to me because of some crisis that was no fault of theirs;
this is a safe haven until permanent homes can be found.
I know my cats well and can assist in finding the right personality for potential adopters.
All my cats are neutered, fully vaccinated and screened for feline leukemia.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Crisco, a Brooklyn American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
