Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pricilla is a gentle spirit of Beagle mix that is only a year old and weighs about 25 pounds. Pricilla and her brother were taken out of a high kill shelter as young puppies with all good intentions and unfortunately good intentions weren't enough. These pups lived in an outdoor kennel with very little human contact for the first 9 months of their life. Living there saved them from imminent death, but not from emotional disconnects and lack of confident love in their life. Critter Cavalry heard of their plight and stepped in to help. Inside a foster home with other Beagles and various children and adults, this girl has blossomed like a rose. She has flourished under the love and encouragement of a foster home that understands insecurities born from benign neglect. Pricilla is a shy girl and probably always will be to some degree, and this is why we would recommend a more quiet home and family. She loves to run around outside and kick her heels up, so a fenced in yard is a must. She is such a smart girl. Although she's still a young dog, she knows that outside is where she is supposed to get all her energy out; inside she knows how to be calm. Pricilla is living with 4 other dogs and when they start to bark, she never joins in. She is housetrained and crate trained. This little miracle doesn't require much; she's just looking for someone to hold her with love and tell her that she has a loving place for the rest of her life. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
