Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Blossom is one of those miracles in life that you read about in the rescue world and wonder how people could be so cruel. This Husky/Shepherd mix girl is about 10 years old and weighs only 45 pounds. She was part of a large group of 107 dogs that were confiscated from a single woman in rural Tennessee who thought she would create her own breed of Husky/Wolfe/ Shepherd dogs. When the Humane Society of America came on the property, the dogs were in terrible condition. They were underfed, chained to trees and barrels and pretty much hungry for everything; food, attention and medical care. At first glance Blossom seems to have that look of fear, but it soon melts with gratitude and love when she realizes you are there to give her love and kindness. She is good with all other dogs, cats and children. She just needs a bit of understanding when she first meets new people. Having lived a sheltered life of never leaving the property where she was born, this girl will be your constant shadow and loving companion. She has soft black fur that is improving in quality every day as she receives good food and nourishment. Won’t you be a stepping stone to a wonderful and happy ending to her story?
