Robin is a female Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle mix only 1 year old. She is on the small side, weighing 12 pounds full grown. Robin has a beautiful, silky soft coat of charcoal gray and silver with chocolate brown highlights. Her coat appears to be low/non-shedding. Robin is a very quiet, reserved little girl. We suspect she may have had a scary past because she is unsure of her surroundings and a little bit sad. Her personality is sweet, passive, and gentle. Robin is excellent with all dogs, big and small and although she doesn't play quite yet we think she will once she feels more comfortable. Mostly Robin is looking for someone she can depend on, who will treat her with kindness and provide a stable environment. Already, she will softly lick the hand of those people she is familiar with, and when looks up at you with her soulful brown eyes you know she wants to find a devoted human companion. Robin is learning how to walk on leash and does best with a harness. She rides quietly in the car and is well behaved in public. When out and about, she prefers to be carried, especially in busy areas. Robin will thrive in a quieter home with possibly another young doggie companion to help show her the way. This sweet girl has a lot of love to give and will be utterly and completely devoted to those who win her heart. Robin was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where she was dumped locked inside a small tupperware container! She deserves a whole lot better. Robin is healthy and ready for her new forever loving home today.
Robin’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Robin is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Edie and is ready for her forever home.
