UPDATE

UPDATE: Mia underwent her second surgery for her eye. This time to thin the flap. She will go back soon for a recheck and then again to have the flap removed. We are hopeful that her eye will be saved and she will have vision out of it. If not, this girl doesn't act impaired in any way! She LOVES to run and play outside...mud puddles and all! Therefore she must have a structual fenced in yard. She plays fetch, comes with called, doing well with potty training and working on learning other tricks. But don't let this puppy fool you....while she loves to run and play she is also very content to be held and snuggled and makes a great lap dog.

Mia just had eye surgery as
a result of a ruptured eye. A
big "thank you" goes to Dr
Mary Jane & Staff at the
Shively Animal Clinic in
Louisville. Just to let you
know what awesome foster
homes we have, our dear
Jen (Mia's) foster mom, will
be administering 5 meds.
Jen will be doing her eye
drops every 4 hours around
the clock. Thank you just
isn't enough ! Let's hope
with all the medical care &
TLC from Jen, this little
one's eye can be saved.

She plays fetch and tug.
She is doing great with
potty training. She is a
great lap dog. Will beg to
be picked up and just lays
there and doesn't move.
