Moxie's Story...
Moxie is a stunning 5 yr old 75 lb sweetheart! She was one of 8 dogs surrendered to a county shelter by her owner. She was terrified so we took her in and what a lovely dog she is. She is fine with other dogs and will even let the little dogs run all over her but what she really loves is her people! We haven't had her around kids but cant imagine she would be anything but fine. She will sometimes jump up though when excited (basically when her humans get home from being gone) so she could possibly knock small someones down. Moxie is housetrained. She loves the freedom she gets with a securely fenced yard. With her looks and personality, Moxie is the total package! Moxie is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moxie, a Woodstock Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner for sale in Woodstock, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Woodstock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodstock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodstock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodstock paves the way for another one to be saved.
