(ID #325) Hi, my name is Twix.

I am a one year old Lab/Staffordshire mix. I first came to the shelter as a young stray. I was adopted but then returned because my owner didn't crate me when I was left alone and I got into all sorts of mischief. I made a mess of things.

At least here at the shelter I have my basic needs met, like food and water plus a roof over my head. However, I am longing to find my forever home and a family to love. I have plenty of love to give. Do you have room in your heart and your home for me?? Come and have a meet-n-greet with me.

I am a young lady at heart and I weigh around 45 pounds. I have been checked out by a veterinarian and spayed. I received a set of preventative shots, have been wormed, and tested negative for heartworms. I have also been microchipped. I really really don't like those pesky things you call cats. So I need a cat-free home.

I am being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt me. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, and treats. You will receive a Rebate Certificate that can be used towards payment of a training course with the trainer of your choice.
