My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our Weims just keep getting better, this little girl is CALLIE a Pretty Weimaraner Lab Mix. She is 9 months old, and has the most wonderful temperament and beautiful features. Unique in color Callie is a gorgeous Brown fawn with a hint of grey undertones when the sun hits.
She has gorgeous white teeth and beautiful amber eyes that will melt your heart.
Callies`s story starts here >>>Callie came to us from Louisiana, she and her sister were down to the wire when we pulled both of them from the kill shelter. Both Callie and her sister had been adopted out together as young pups and they were returned a few weeks later when they started to play. Taking 2 young pups is not the way to go unless you are absolutely dedicated. The owners were not dedicated from what we hear, they had small children and when the pups got boisterous playing they would knock the toddlers down. We hear this all the time. We transported both girls to Florida and placed them in a loving foster home the first real home they had encountered. Callie settled in well She enjoys playing with the other dogs and loves to run and play, On the flip side she is happy to snuggle up next to her humans, She is a loving girl and like all weimies she loves attention. For a pup she is playful a little mischievous she has a little more confidence than her sister. she takes the lead She can get carried away and gets too hyper but only when playing with her sister. We brought Callie into Lifeline so we could find the perfect family for her we are now searching for that wonderful forever home. A home that will give her stability and security and life she needs. She deserves a family that will give her the love and attention she deserves. Callie will warm to you and just melt your heart she bonds to you very quickly and responds to love. Like most Weimaraners she loves to be around humans and will follow you around, She loves to be next to you on the sofa and cuddle on your bed, So if you don't like a dog on your furniture or your bed this girl IS NOT FOR YOU. She is fun and playful. Callie is not crate trained she has never been in a crate, A crate would be alien to her and more than likely bring on stress. We would prefer an owner that would not crate and an owner that is home most of the day. to bring in a little discipline after all it is wise to remember that she is still a pup so a little training would need to be done, for her to fall into your routine. At night time she will sleep on a sofa or a bed however she just loves to sleep on your bed she loves to be close to her humans and loves to cuddle..
Callie is housebroken, she will go to the door when he needs to go out to potty. she is good at bath times.she is a good girl in the car
Callie is spayed, current on all vaccinations, Heart worm negative, up to date on monthly prevention and she is micro.chipped. She is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to relax in the home. We are looking to find Callie a wonderful forever home where she can have stability and security in her life.
We are looking for a forever home that can cherish her and give her the love, direction and attention she needs, A family that is really stable and can give her that forever home that means forever. We dont ever want to see this girl back in a shelter Callie is lovable, she is good with children and dosent mind the odd cat. A family that will include her in their lifestyle and activities would be perfect. Callie will blossom with the right family and interaction. Someone that is at home most of the day would be perfect for Callie like most Weims she dosent like to be apart from you for hours on end.
A home with a fenced in yard, screened in pool lanai or acreage where she can run and play is ESSENTIAL. Callie is good with other dogs I would say a male as she can get a little bossy. However She would be fine as an only dog with lots of love and interaction. It is wise to remember that She is still a pup and will need a little learning on commands and rules of the house also She is a pup and occasionally will chew so a few good strong toys would not go amiss. CALLIE has all the Weimy traits and She is just gorgeous. If you think that you have what it takes for this awesome little Weim/Lab girl and can open your heart and home, to make Callies`s life complete you will be rewarded with a wonderful , loyal faithful friend that will bring you endless hours of pleasure.
