I was abandoned in Sandston in the middle of a snowstorm. I was so very cold and scared - but a wonderful woman took me in and gave me a warm place to sleep and some food to eat. She was very kind to me, but she couldn’t afford another mouth to feed, so she called Henrico Humane Society. Soon I was living with a wonderful foster family and they treat me like a queen! They named me Catniss after the plant because I am strong and sweet! But she changed it from Katniss to “Cat”niss, since I’m a cat and all.
My foster mom says that I’m very beautiful and enjoys brushing my long locks, which feels pretty good! I’m very much a lap cat because I know how much people mean to me and I like to give affection to reward them. I’m not afraid of dogs and other cats are fine with me, if I find the right one I’ll make him or her my best friend.
