Egypt's Story...
"Hello! My name is EGYPT. I'm a fabulous, friendly, ten-year-old Cattle Dog/ Border Collie mix, and it's pretty hard to believe that I'm a senior. I'm lively, playful, and healthy-looking, plus I'm responsive, smart, and best of all, affectionate. I'm as sweet as can be! I love to chase after balls, and I really enjoy going on walks. I'd be a loyal, loving pet for just about any person or family. I get along nicely with other dogs, too. I've already been house trained, and my manners are impeccable. On top of all that, MY ADOPTION FEE IS ONLY $30. My adoption fee includes my microchip, plus I'm up-to-date on my shots, and I've already been spayed. I sure hope you'll come visit me soon. They've got a really nice play yard where we can spend some time getting to know each other, then maybe you'll take me home and we can start our new life together. Love, Egypt" Kennel #26

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Egypt, a El Cajon Cattle Dog/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/Border Collie for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Cattle Dog/Border Collie dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/Border Collie breeders who help with Cattle Dog/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
