Heidi's Story...
Meet Heidi! We met Heidi at the dreaded city pound we are always talking about. An employee reached out to us one day when we were there visiting and said "This dog you'd love is in the euthanasia room." Well, long story short- she was right. Heidi was so underweight that we originally though from appearance she was 3 or 4 months old. Come to find out she has adult teeth and was a little older. She was so malnourished yet so sweet, we knew she didn't deserve to be put to sleep. She is now in her foster home learning all of her house manners. She is great with other dogs, actually adores them. She absolutely must be cuddling with another dog or a human every single time she naps. She's a serious spooner. She's a happy go lucky pup, loves to see you when you come home from work. If you are looking for a playmate or cuddle bug, she's your girl. We estimate Heidi is about 8 months old and about 25 pounds(still thin, but much better). She is a petite little girl. She is crate trained and great on a leash. Her adoption fee is $425 which includes her transport from Memphis to you, travel health certificate, spay, microchip, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, and up to date shots. Please contact us for an application on this sweetie!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Heidi, a Chicago Boxer/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Beagle for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Boxer/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Beagle breeders who help with Boxer/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
