Sammy Sez that life is sometimes very unfair. For example, it's a mystery to him how such a young, handsome Cocker Spaniel with a lovely disposition could have ended up stray on the street, ultimately finding himself at Animal Care and Control of NYC. His bedraggled state at the time of intake pretty much "sez" it all ... nobody ever took much care of him, the fact of his sheer wonder ... fulness going completely unnoticed during his 4 years of life. Sammy "sez" that he is ready for his fate to change, though. Such a good boy is sure to make an excellent family dog ... he is great both with people and with other dogs, but is a bit too interested in cats for anyone's good (he is very much inclined to chase). Sammy is otherwise a healthy boy who has been neutered, microchipped, is current on all shots, and has tested negative for heartworm. He will be professionally groomed before adoption and will go home with a new leash and collar. If you have something to say to Sammy, please email rescue@nyabandonedangels.c
