Kelly's Story...
Meet Kelly, an 8 year old Beagle/Cocker Spaniel cross who comes to us from Animal Care and Control of NYC. Kelly is a quiet, sensitive dog who needs placement in a calm and loving adult only home. Although a slightly older dog, she is nevertheless a healthy girl who has been spayed, microchipped, is current on all shots and has tested negative for heartworm. Kelly has just enjoyed a professional grooming and will be treated to a dental cleaning prior to her placement. She will be sporting a new leash and collar at the time of going home. If you would like to adopt or foster Kelly, please email rescue@nyabandonedangels.com or visitwww.nyabandonedangels.com, where you can complete and return an on-line application. Adopt Kelly today and bring home the luck 'o the Irish (or just luck).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kelly, a Flushing Beagle/Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Beagle/Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Beagle/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
