Hercules's Story...
Name: Hercules
Color: Black and Tan
Breed: German Shepherd and Doberman Pinscher Mix
Gender: Male
Age: 1 Year 5 Months
This is Hercules! He is a very sweet, very shy young man!
Big fan of: Exercise! He will need very regular exercise to keep you and him happy! He would make a great jogging companion and this is the type of outlet he will need.
Special Features: Hercules needs training! Hercules was not well socialized in his last home and needs a bit of work. Hercules will need to go to positive based obedience with you and he needs a home that will be committed to socializing him with people. He needs to learn that strangers are not all dangers! Hercules is just a giant baby who will need to be crated when left alone as he seems to have some separation issues. Hercules has a lot of confidence boosting to do and he would not do well in a home where folks are fearful of dogs. He needs a confident owner who will teach him that the big bad world is not so bad.
Dream Home: Hercules is good with other dogs and would love a nice confident sister to help teach him the ways of the world. He would love to live with teenage kids who will help keep him exercised and socialized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hercules, a Bellingham German Shepherd Dog/Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Doberman Pinscher for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
