My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please meet Chip! Chip is an adorable male Terrier mix. Chip is vetted, neutered and vaccinated, with all records transferred to his new owner. He weighs approx. 15 pounds fully grown and he is approx. 1-2 years old. Chip has the personality of a true charmer! This little prince is happy-go-lucky, curious, and smart as a whip! His intelligence and love for learning is impressive. Chip is sometimes spunky and vivacious, and his adorable antics will bring a smile to anyone's face! He bounces around and dances with happiness! Chip loves being active outdoors, and he would probably make a great agility dog for anyone who is interested in that. If agility is not your thing, no problem! Chip would make a wonderful companion to just about anyone! He'd be great for walking with you, fetching a toy, or just hanging out. Chip is very loyal and will follow his family to the ends of the earth, tail wagging the whole time! He is over the moon for gentle back rubs and doggie treats. Chip lights up with happiness when you talk to him, take him for a walk or just give him some love. He is very social, friendly, and loves attention. And you couldn't even imagine a more perfect lapdog! Chip wins the award for most personality in such a little pup! He would make a wonderful family dog. Chip seems to be friendly with other small friendly dogs, but he is a little apprehensive around cats, particularly if they show aggression towards him. Chip came into rescue too skinny, and he needs to gain some weight to be healthier. He is working on gaining weight, but will probably need to be fed a little bit extra at first, and then less after he reaches an ideal weight, determined by the vet. Chip also came into rescue with a cropped tail, but that doesn't stop it from wagging a mile a minute! Just like with any dog in a new home environment, Chip will need some training from his future family and an adjustment period, but he will probably catch on quickly.
