Lewis's Story...
At only three months old, Lewis has already developed a lot of character. Somewhere between a beagle and a hound, he enjoys a Sunday drive (or any day of the week really) through the country to check out the sights and smells. He would really like it if he could take his turn at driving in fact, attempting to sit in your lap and put his feet on the wheel. His funny feet and legs suggest a little Bassett hound but at 25lbs at three months, there's a pretty good chance there is something larger mixed in his bloodline as well. Whatever the breed, he's quite the lover of people and kids. For adoption information email us at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lewis, a Clarksville Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Clarksville, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Clarksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clarksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clarksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clarksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
