MEET LITTLE TASHA....a very, very sweet, 8 lb, 5 yr old, Maltese, who came from the San Bernardino Shelter in such bad condition, we had no idea what kind of dog she was. It took two months for her skin and coat to recover from being so matted. Beneath all that mess was a precious little being who only wants to be loved. Tasha loves to sleep under the covers with you. She is quiet, except to tell you she needs to protect you from something foreign to her (which isn't often). We think we've heard her bark twice! She loves to give kisses and dance for you...cuddle and be your best friend. She loves other dogs as well, loves to snuggle with them as well. If she is going to be with you all the time, she could be your one and only, but don't leave her alone without anyone...then you might hear her voice! PP pad trained and she loves to go for walks. Seems to be potty trained...but no guarantees at your house! She is an angel in white...and wants to be home and loved. By you maybe? Kids over 8 yrs old OK.

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
