My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jay J. is a fun little 1 year old Terrier mix. He weighs 12 lbs., is housebroken and crate trained. Jay J. is good with people, other dogs and is friendly with cats also. He loves to play chasing games and tuggy games with the other dogs here. Jay J. is kind of obsessed that he needs to grab a dog toy from the floor and trying to sneak it outside when I'm letting all dogs out the door to go potty. Jay J. is a very confident little boy as you can tell by the way he holds his cute little ears so high and erect, as if he is tuning in for some important upcoming command.

Jay J. came up to Rover Rescue from a high kill shelter in Southern Indiana. He was there because his former owner failed to pick up Jay J. at the shelter after a short stint in jail! Jay J. is friendly and has sweet personality which earned him a seat (in a crate) on the next transport van up to Rover Rescue. He will hop up and sit on a lap for some cuddle time when invited to do so. He was very good when given a bath and was so excited afterward, he raced into the living room to tell everyone all about it! Jay J. loves to chew on Nylabones, and so far he has not chewed anything that he shouldn't. He also loves peanut butter stuffed shank bones. We have fun with Jay J. throwing a tennis ball down the hallway and he runs to fetch and bring it back. He's also a really good catcher, of treats especially - and he knows where the treat jar is!

Jay J. is up-to-date on his vaccinations, neutered, on monthly heartworm preventative, and is micro-chipped. Jay J.'s adoption fee is $200 (cash or check). To find out more about Jay J., please contact his foster Mom, Debbie, at 630-272-1109 or coachdebbi@aol.com.
