My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gunny is a 5 year old male that we saved from Houston, he was found as a stray and someone took him in. He wasn't a fan of that persons young kids climbing all over him so they called us and we took in Gunny. He came to us covered in sores all over his legs that have been doing great with healing on antibiotics from the vet. He is currently in a foster home in Nacogdoches,Texas with other male/female Dobermans. Of course male Dobermans do much better with females. He is a great dog his foster dad says. He goes with him out on the town and behaves himself in public. He knows basic commands and loves to cuddle and be spoiled. We would like to see him go to a home with kids over 7 years old because he likes to be so relaxed and young kids like to pull and poke sometimes. Gunny tested heart worm positive and is undergoing slow kill treatment at our vet, this treatment will continue after adoption. He is now neutered, chipped, has all his shots and had a negative fecal exam. He is good on the leash and in the car. He has cropped ears but only one stands and it gives him character :-)
