Max's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Max's Story...
Max is such a handsome young man and has a great personality to match. He is house trained and kennel trained. He LOVES toys and being outside. He has a lot of energy so would do well in a home that can give him exercise and can provide a strong pack leader for him. Max loves being around people. He would do best, however, in a home without small children. Max also loves to snuggle and play tug-of-war. Max knows basic commands such as sit, shake and lay down. He is about three years old as of June 2016 and weighs about 45 pounds. Max is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered and heartworm tested. He lived in a foster home with other dogs, but needs to meet furry friends to make sure he is a good fit. If you would like to give Max a forever home, please complete an adoption application at ITVrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Evansville Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
