Hi! My name is Donnie and I am a fun loving two year old beagle mix. I am a sweet, timid guy who LOVES, LOVES, LOVES people! Look at my beautiful eyes! You can't help yourself, you love me already! I am the perfect sized pooch to cuddle with and I promise to snuggle close with you every night. I am very smart and I let you know when I have to go potty outside. I am crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on my shots.
I am a good boy, but I'm not perfect. I have guarding issues with treats. When I get a treat, I go hide it and come back to steal everyone else's. If anyone dares to try to stop me or gets near MY hidden treasure, I GO NUTS!! So now I only get treats I eat quickly like small bites of cheese or Puperoni. I also whined a lot the first several days after moving into my current foster home. I'm better now that I'm getting used to them, but it's time for me to find my fur-ever family.
My dream home would include a companion who spends lots of time by my side! I like going for walks and having a fenced yard to play while someone is outside with me. I like kids (6 and older) and Mom thinks I'd be great as an only dog. However, I also enjoy socializing with other dogs who know when to give me some space. I don't really care much about cats, so long as they leave me alone and I get plenty of attention!!
