My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The contact for JAZZ is Laurenferrera@aol.com!!!!!

Jazz is a 1.5 year old female Catahoula/Staffordshire Terrier mix who was rescued from a high kill shelter just hours before she was to be euthanized. She was terrified at the shelter, and coupled with a large cherry eye, the odds were against her. She has flourished since being rescued, and her cherry eye surgery has healed completely. She has the most beautiful, soulful eyes and a sweet pudgy face that you can't help but love. Her signature Cindy Crawford beauty mark just begs for a smooch. She is such a fun, active dog, and is truly a great companion animal. She is about 50 lbs, but you'd never guess from her petite stature. She is up to date on all shots and preventatives, spayed, heartworm negative, crate trained and house trained (she evens uses a bell on the back door when she wants to go outside to potty!). She loves playing with her toys and is smart as a whip. She gets along great with other dogs and enjoys playtime with her furry friends at day care. She is also a pro at keeping the bed warm for you... A total plus on these long, cold nights ;) Loves to go on walks and would make a great jogging partner. Jazz is a prime example of what makes her breed shine: loyal, intelligent, affectionate and courageous. Please contact us if you are interested in making this precious girl part of your family.

JAZZ's $450 adoption fee includes health certificate and transport from her foster home to the Midwest.

JAZZ is a courtesy post for a friend of Blues City Animal Rescue. Please contact her at Laurenferrera@aol.com rather than Blues City for an adoption application and all other questions.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
