My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome little fellow is Shadow Smitten. He was recently spotted at the Houston Humane Society, hoping his "people" would come to claim him, but sadly they didn't. As luck would have it, he is now a DREAM Dachsie and his odds for becoming someone's cuddle buddy have increased tremendously. He is a super nice dog and his sweet personality is just starting to emerge. He's doing well at his Foster Mom's house and getting along well with his foster siblings. He is pretty docile, but if the other dogs get too "nosey" with their sniffing, he will give them a little growl to let them know he's not happy with their actions. He appears to be almost completely house broken, and learned to use the doggie door right away. He found a favorite spot on the loveseat, and pretty much will hang there, out of the way of the other dogs. He's black with a white chest and feet, and just a really cutie who drew a lot of attention at the vet and the pet store while shopping for a new collar. He would love to find a forever family that he could call his own. He's hoping that might be you!
