Shiloh's Story...
Shiloh is a 7 month old labrador retriever mix. She is a very sweet but timid girl. She and her littermates were trapped by animal control because someone "wanted them off his property." They were confused and scared in the shelter but this little girl was pulled by one of our volunteers and is slowly building trust in humans. She is very calm with short spurts of playtime. She absolutely adores other dogs and comes out of her shell when around them. Shiloh will need a patient home that is willing to continue working with her on trust and love. We feel that she will blossom into a wonderful family pet. Shiloh is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative.

If you are interested in adopting Shiloh, please submit an online adoption application at www.pacconline.org. This does NOT obligate you to adopt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shiloh, a Franklin Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Franklin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Franklin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Franklin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Franklin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Franklin paves the way for another one to be saved.
