VELVET's Story...
My name is Velvet I am a King Charles Spaniel I am about 8 yrs old, my birthdate is 10/4/2006! I am a little shy so it takes me a little bit to get use to you but I eventually come around! I love to lay in bed or on the couch and snuggle with you! I ride well in the car! I get along great with other dogs and am use to be around cats. I am use to being in a fenced yard during the day and sleep in a crate at night! I know my name and I am crate trained. I weigh 22 pounds which is a little big for a king Charles but I am so sweet!

My story goes like this my original owners have had me my entire life but due to age and health issues they are having to move and are unable to keep all of us. We have had a great life and they have taken great care of us but sometimes things happen!

Pictures will be coming soon...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

VELVET, a Plainfield King Charles Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a King Charles Spaniel for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a King Charles Spaniel dog from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even King Charles Spaniel breeders who help with King Charles Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
