Lolita's Story...
LOLITA, is a special cat, she was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia CH this is a neurological condition that is not contagious or progressive, it makes it a bit hard as she cannot coordinate too well her movements but she eat well, she can play with toys that she loves, get around and go to her little box and even cover with sand. She will live the normal life span of a cat with a bit of impediments as to jump on top of beds but she learns how to get around sometimes finding a way around it. The condition never worsens, she is super affectionate and loves to cuddle, they don't know they have this condition. You pet her and she starts purring and cuddles, she really needs a lot of love. There is a website about these cats http://lifewithchcats.com A lot of people adopt them as they are very sweet and loving.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lolita, a Miami British Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a British Shorthair for sale in Miami, or seeking a British Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Miami.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Miami already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Miami breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even British Shorthair breeders who help with British Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Miami paves the way for another one to be saved.
