Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, aka Wolfe, Mister, and sweet lil' fella! Wolfe is a tiny little 4 year old, Miniature Dachshund/Chihuahua mix guy weighing 7 lbs who LOVES his foster family and they LOVE him! He is a super special boy and a lovey little cuddle bug. Wolfe was a stray found in Shelbyville, TN and ended up in a high kill shelter. CCR stepped in and saved this precious soul. Wolfe was malnourished and needed surgery to remove all his top teeth and a lot of his bottom ones too….thus his funny little smile and mouth. In his foster home in Nashville, TN it was love at first sight! He bonded immediately with young and old, and he bounced right back from the surgery. He has a big appetite for soft food, dry food that has been softened with warm water or broth, and treats. We are sure that when he looks in the mirror, he sees a 100 lb. Doberman! He is very protective of his family (like most Dachshunds) and is a wonderful guard dog. He is a very quiet boy who only barks when he is excited to eat, greeting his returning family or when he is in protection mode. He is working on his housetraining making great progress and is almost 100% crate trained. Wolfe prefers sleeping in the big bed, but will sleep in his crate without complaint. He gets along wonderfully with the foster dog and the 9 year old child in the home. Cats are unknown. Wolfe is a devoted, loving boy and his forever family will be blessed beyond measure!
