Bolo's Story...
Bolo is the handsome new black and white kitty boy for you! This terrific tuxedo boy is very friendly and loving. Bolo enjoys being petted, getting chin scratches, taking naps with his person and running around playing with his cat toys, batting them all over. He has expressive green eyes that are most often filled with affection and contentment. Bolo is quite cuddly, he’ll roll over for tummy rubs and loves snuggling and getting kisses on his head. Bolo came to 4Paws from a shelter in Maryland where he was rescued from a hoarding situation.

He has lived with other cats and dogs in his previous home so we believe he would get along with other cats and dogs in his new home with proper introduction. Bolo could be adopted with his friend Ruby or they could each be adopted separately. Bolo also likes to give head butts and will purr and purr to show how much he cares about you! Please come and meet Bolo and give him a chance to find his loving forever family!

Bolo was born in March 2013. He has been neutered, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia and is up to date on all his shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bolo, a Merrifield Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Merrifield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Merrifield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Merrifield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Merrifield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Merrifield paves the way for another one to be saved.
