Hi! My name is Tara. I am a 3-month-old Pitbull/Great Dane mix puppy. I weigh about 20 pounds right now, but I still have quite a bit of growing to do. I'll probably end up weighing somewhere between 60-80 pounds, but nobody knows for sure. All I can say is that I'm going to be a big girl one day.
I am the most adorable, sweetest little girl you'll ever want to meet. My wrinkly face and puppy dog eyes will absolutely melt your heart. All I want to do is cuddle with you and rest my head on your shoulder. I swear, I could do that all day long! I love being around people, and I get along great with other dogs too. I'm still learning how to play with toys, but I sure am curious about them. I like to watch my human friends swing the rope around, but I haven't quite figured out what I'm supposed to do with it. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it soon, though. I am a puppy, after all!
You might not believe this, but someone actually left me and my 3 siblings in a cardboard box outside of an animal hospital! We were so scared, but at least we were together. An employee found us and contacted CageFree to ask if they could take us into their rescue. Luckily, they said yes! However, over the course of the day, the staff at the office managed to find homes for all of my siblings. But unfortunately, no one wanted to take me home. I was really sad and lonely without my brothers and sisters by my side. When I arrived at CageFree, it was obvious that I was pretty shaken up from the busy day I'd had, because I was extremely shy and nervous. I'm still pretty timid, but I've already started to become more comfortable in my new surroundings.
I can't stress enough how cute and sweet I am! I truly love everybody I meet, so long as they're willing to give me lots of pets and cuddles. I would love for my new family to be active, energetic, and hopefully have lots of free time for us to get to know each other!
