Hello. My name is Magnus. I'm about 4 years old and I weigh about 18 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the Glenmoor area of East Liverpool with my best buddy Milton.
We are both in pretty poor shape. We both have very itchy, yeasty skin and ears. We're also missing a fair amount of hair from scratching and chewing ourselves.
Lots of dogs come in to the pound in bad shape like us, or at least that's what they tell us.
Neither one of us appear to know what walking on a leash is. We kind of freak out for a minute but the pound is working on getting us leash trained.
They say that with some nice baths a decent diet and some ear cleaning and possible medication, we'll be as good as new. That will be awesome because we really can't remember the last time we didn't itch like crazy...
We are both shy at first and not really eager to get to know and trust new people, but once we know you we're both very super sweet little guys.
We seem to get along well with other dogs. We even get to stay in the same kennel together at night.
If you're looking for a sweet little dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me or my friend Milton, or maybe even both of us.
I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER MARCH 9, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
