Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hogan story is one that will tug at your heart. He was found on an "on ramp" during rush hour just feet from a very busy highway. The Good Samaritan who spotted him initially thought he had been hit by a car and was possibly diseased. Having passed him by in route to access the highway, it took several minutes to exit and back track to him. To her relief, Hogan was alive! He slowly lifted his head and rested it back down again. It was not long before Hogan and his Savior were carefully crossing traffic and slowly walking blocks back to her car.Once in our care, it took several days of medical attention and tests to assess Hogan's healthy. As he was stumbling when he walked and was very lethargic, we were very concerned. Hogan spent his first few days days at the Veterinarian office until we understood from his blood work and Xrays that Hogan was just exhausted and dehydrated when we found him. We have had Hogan for a few weeks now and we feel he is ready to find a forever homethat will love this boy. He is extremely sweet. He loves everybody he meets. We have done a few canine intros with him and he loves to play and romp with other dogs. He seems to prefer smaller to mid size pooches. He will do fine with male dogs providing they allow him to be the king. Hogan is crate trained, loves to go "bye bye" car and long walks. He also loves to play in a baby pool! Hogan would be most happy in a home with lots of exercise and plenty of couch time. He is a big lover and just wants to give kisses. A youngster, approximately 1 year old, this pooch will make a wonderful companion. If you are interested in adopting Hogan ($200 adoption fee), please take moment to fill out our application, http://www.povertyspets.org/availableanimals/adoptionform.html, and we will get back to you upon receipt.
