My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Dmitri, but you can call me Dima. I have a wonderful chocolate coat, am seven years old, and sweet as can be. My family was displaced and I ended up in the pokey, but the volunteers at the shelter contacted Rescue and they scooped me up right away! I had to have a lot of teeth pulled, but that hasn't phased me one bit-I feel so much better now. My foster mom is putting me on a diet to shed some extra fluff, but that's just more of me to love, isn't it? I currently weigh around eighteen pounds, but should be closer to sixteen-ish, so that is our goal. She said whoever adopts me is going to be super lucky because I'm extra sweet and extra smart. I learned my 'kennel' and 'outside' commands almost instantly and I haven't made a peep at night. I get along great with my foster brothers and the resident kitties too. I'll even go outside to potty when it's cold and wet without raising too much of a fuss. My tail is always wagging and I love cuddles.
