**Patty is in foster care in Connecticut**

This lovely little lady is Patty. Patty is about 23 and is a white front or spectacled amazon. They are one of the smaller amazons and do not have the attitude of the larger zons. She is very nervous about coming out of her cage, but once out she loves to cuddle. She lost her home when her mother passed away, she is not in a rescue thru any fault of her own. She has clean bloodwork and is fresh out of quarantine and hoping to go to her new home very soon!!!

The Adoption Process:Fill out our online adoption application which can be found on our website, www.ahelpingwing.org (no phone calls please). A representative from A Helping Wing will be in touch to answer all questions and discuss setting up a first visit. Multiple visits are required before adoption. Although there is no application fee, there is an adoption fee, which covers food, medical care, etc., and allows us to continue our efforts in rescuing, caring for, and finding homes for all of our birds. All birds at AHW have been vetted and have negative tests for any disease before they are made available for adoption!
