Honey's Story...
Honey is just as sweet as Tupelo Honey -- and is the color of honey as well. This lucky girl is being fostered from the city shelter by a volunteer family where she is learning all about what it is like to have a loving and safe home. And learning she is! Learning that the world can be such a good place and learning just about everything else that you can teach her. She is very smart. Honey is also a little shy but is gaining self confidence daily thanks to her optimistic spirit and her foster family's kindness. Although she is currently in Jackson, MS, transportation to the New England area can be easily arranged. If you are interested in taking Honey into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://www.animalrescuefront.org/Adoption-Form.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Groton Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Groton, or seeking a Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
