Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB June 1, 2011.
Nessie is a curious, playful cat with a big personality. Her inquisitive green eyes and little silver paws are totally irresistible.
Although she takes a while to warm up, Nessie now runs to the door for some petting when her foster family comes home, and loves lying stretched out on the floor where she can see the goings on in the kitchen and living area. She lies on her back with her front paws tucked up under her chin like a furry beached whale, and loves to be brushed with the broom. She'll throw herself in front of it when you're sweeping to ensure she doesn't miss out on the fun! She also loves playing with water, chasing lasers, and lying curled up on the bed beside you at night. Nessie isn't a "lap cat" but has really warmed up to her foster Mom, and she even (usually!) waits for the alarm to go off before crawling onto your stomach for her daily scratch behind the ears.
During a check-up, the vet discovered Nessie had bladder stones. She has now recovered from her surgery and has perked right up but Nessie will need prescription urinary cat food and some wet food in her diet for the rest of her life to prevent bladder stones from reforming. Don't let this deter you, Nessie is a beautiful shy girl, looking for a loving and patient best friend in her new forever home.
