Babs's Story...
Hi! My name is BABS! I am one of a litter of five girls up for adoption! We have been in Foster Care since February 8 getting healthy and are ready to find our forever family. We have been spayed, microchiped, and are up to date on our shots.
If you are interested in meeting me please email my Foster Mom at mfe53@yahoo.com or 225-620-6018 to fill out an adoption application and to set up a meet and greet.

All dogs adopted through Friends of the Animals are current on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption. For more information about FOTA or to make a donation, please visit http://www.friendsoftheanimalsbr.org/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Babs, a Baton Rouge Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
