Yogi and Rockey's Story...
Rockey is an 8 month old male guinea pig. He was surrendered because his family's children turned out to be allergic to him. Yogi is a 4 year old male Peruvian guinea pig. He was surrendered because the owner's child was allergic to him. Yogi came in in rough shape, with severely overgrown nails and matted hair. They were introduced to each other after coming to us and bonded instantly! Both are very sweet and handle-able. Their adoption fee is $25 for the pair and they must be adopted together. Their cage can be included for an additional $30. If interested in adopting, please go to hoperanch.weebly.com and fill out an adoption application request.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yogi and Rockey, a Orlando Guinea Pig was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Guinea Pig for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Guinea Pig from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Guinea Pig breeders who help with Guinea Pig rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
