Pete and Vegeta's Story...
Pete and Vegeta are both 1 year old beige hooded male rats. Vegeta was adopted from us about a year ago from a litter that was rescued and brought to us from south Florida. Unfortunately, the boys' owner no longer had the time to take care of them anymore and brought them to us. They are big, squishy, lovey boys that would make a great addition to the family! Vegeta is developing a cataract is one eye, which does affect his vision. However, it does not affect him at all.Their adoption fee is $10 for the pair. Their cage can be included for an additional $30.

If interested in adopting, please go to hoperanch.weebly.com and fill out an adoption application request.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pete and Vegeta, a Orlando Rat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Rat from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat breeders who help with Rat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
