Maggie's Story...
Meet Maggie! She is a lab mix that is approximately a year old and around 40 lbs. Maggie has such a bubbly fun personality that you are sure to fall in love with her. She loves to play fetch and is extremely good at returning the ball so that you can keep playing with her. She also gets along great with other dogs. Maggie's future home has to be okay with kisses from her because she is very affectionate! Maggie is a disciplined dog as well. She knows "no", "sit" and is crate/house trained. She’s a medium energy level dog with a great temperament that would fit in with almost any family.

Maggie is currently being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but she is not picky about where she ends up as long as she is loved. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, heartworm prevention and flea prevention.

If you might like to meet her, you can fill out an application online at http://www.FORrescue.net or email info@FORrescue.net for more information. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Knoxville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
