Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tippy, as we have come to call him is a wonderful, lovable little 4 year old guy who weighs 14lbs. He's a Poodle/Schnauzer mix, with perhaps a dash of Terrier in there too. Whatever he is, he is adorable, super soft and doesn't shed at all. We found him roaming down a freeway ramp off the 101, and took him in to a foster. He was not microchipped and didn't have a collar or tags and also wasn't neutered - but we are taking care of all of that for him now! He is great on a leash and is totally potty trained. Not one accident in the house.
We aren't sure why Tippy was abandoned, but his socialization skills are great. He's good with small to medium size dogs, but is a bit nervous around the bigger breeds. He really loves to hang out with you wherever you are in the house, but not in a clingy, needy way. He simply likes to be your buddy while you wash dishes, pay bills, or just watch TV. He's also very good in the car and goes into the back seat on his own and lies down on the floor, comfortable to ride with you wherever you go.
Tippy is fine being left alone when you leave the house. No abandonment anxiety issues, he will just bark a few times as you go to let you know he's there, but then quiets down quickly and settles in. He shouldn't go to a home with young kids, however, as he is not as comfortable around them. Other than that, this is one friendly, affectionate gentleman and he deserves a forever family of his own. Please email katyalidsky@gmail.com or ccnla@me.com if you're interested in meeting this wonderful boy!
