Marion's Story...
Marion is a female, Yellow Lab Mix, approximately 3 years old (as of March 2015). She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and is heart worm negative. She has a docked tail, and may have been born this way, but we're not sure. Marion comes to GGOH from Smiling Dog Farms in Texas. This medium sized dog is BIG on love - such a sweat heart! She's great with other dogs and is very good with cats as well. We're told she's good with kids as well, and honestly we don't see how she couldn't be as she is just the nicest dog. Oh, and Marion has the softest fur EVER! She is going to make someone a great cuddle bug!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marion, a New Richmond, Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in New Richmond,, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in New Richmond,.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond, already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond, breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond, paves the way for another one to be saved.
