Leonardo's Story...
HI, My name is Leonardo and I came all the way from Georgia to Delaware to find my forever home. I am about 12 weeks old. I am neutered and have all my shots and I even got microchipped so if I ever get lost, I have a better chance of being found. I weigh about 12 pounds now, but I am expected to be around 55 to 75 pounds (but no one really knows). I get to hang around the 2 cats in house so I get used to them, this way if you have cats, I will fit in perfectly. I am learning how to piddle on a wee wee pad, but I am just a puppy , so still have my accidents, I'm sorry. I have not met any little children, but of course I am little myself, so we should get along just fine. If you would like to give me love and a forever home, please email and Cindi will send you an application and then you can meet me :). You can see more pictures and videos of me on this page (please copy and paste if the link does not work) https://www.facebook.com/ItTakesAVillageAnimalRescue?ref=hl

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leonardo, a Middletown Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
