My story

Then look no further--Elaina may be the dog for you! She was dumped at a dog pound three months ago with her puppies, emaciated and unable to provide sufficient milk for her puppies so they all died. Since then Elaina has recovered and put on weight and is now healthy and ready for a home of her own. She appears to be a basenji/bull terrier mix, is 2-3 years old and weighs 44 pounds. Elaina's foster family said she is a perfect companion and they wish they could keep her but can't due to space. She is a very well behaved girl, house trained, leash trained and doesn't need to be crated. She plays with the other dogs and is great with the grandkids. Because of a previously broken hip now healed, Elaina cannot do active sports but she gets around great and enjoys going for walks and playing in the yard. She is a happy, loving girl who bonds closely to her family. Elaina's adoption fee of $250 through her NO KILL non profit 501c3 rescue covers her spay, shots, worming, heartworm prevention and microchip.
