About Bandit
This dog is being fostered with New Hope Dog Rescue (Saskatoon). If you are interested in adopting please fill our Adoption Application. Meet and greet are by appointment only.
Meet Bandit! A gentle giant and true gentleman! If you are looking for a big cuddle bug with impeccable manners, then Bandit is your boy! He is a happy, handsome German Shepherd mix around 2.5-years-old. He is a large dog, weighing in at 76 lbs, with a well-rounded personality. Bandit is also neutered, dewormed, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped.
Bandit is laid back, quiet, and loves attention! He gets along with everyone he meets, and that includes kids and other dogs. He is quite respectful, and does expect that same respect from other dogs. He does require a proper introduction to other dogs to give him a chance to get to know them and feel comfortable with them. He is sometimes uncomfortable around male dogs. He enjoys cuddles, and will nuzzle his head into your lap for a really good head scratch. He usually follows his foster mom around or spends time snoozing on the floor. He loves to go for walks and is leash trained. He has been known to chase cats and cows!! … Best not to tempt him with these wily creatures!
Bandit also has a goofy adorable side. He has expressive ears that show his mood and expressions quite well and can cause quite a few laughs! He is so smart, and eager to please. He wants to impress his gentlemanly manners upon his gracious hosts, so he has learned basic commands and the rules of his foster home. He even learned to wait patiently to have his feet wiped when he comes in from being outside. He would enjoy continued training with his forever family.
Bandit is such a sweetheart, and deserves the best! He will be just as happy to enjoy the great outdoors as he will be relaxing at home. He will make a wonderful companion! Apply to meet Bandit today! He just may be the best friend that you have been waiting for!
