Nancy is a 2 year old female Shepherd mix who was found as an unclaimed stray.... and what an undiscovered treasure. This sweet girl is a very mild mannered, gentle, easy going dog who goes to visit nursing homes, likes kids, and does very well with other dogs of all sizes as well. She is house trained (although we caution people to expect accidents at first) and crated for the workday. She walks well on the leash and is polite and friendly.
This HHK9 canine has tested positive for a heartworm or tick borne disease and treatment will be done through our vet before an adoption is finalized, so that we can do our part to ensure a healthy happy dog joins your home. Heartworm treatment consists of a 2 day treatment at the vet followed by 4 weeks of restricted activity, and placement timing is on an individual case by case at the comfort level of the foster and adopter. Tick diseases are treated through oral antibiotics sent home with an adopter by the rescue. Requirements: No special requirements
You can email kladams4545@gmail.com with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.
