Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Love: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the Family Dogs enterprise. Its lifelong mission: to explore new hearts, to seek out new life and new families, and boldly love like no other has loved before. Captain's log, lovedate 3.11.2015. While on routine patrol of the Milky Way galaxy, we received a distress call from the planet Earth. It was cryptic in that it contained only two words: Send Love. I, Captain Kirk, and my Lieutenant Commander Spock were part of an envoy sent to investigate the origin of the signal. Upon arrival, we were discovered and are now being held captive in some facility designed to increase happiness on the planet. While I am sympathetic to their mission, the hindrance to my freedom is vexing. Spock and I need to relay the message to our ship that we are okay, and will continue on with our investigation to find our true forever-home planet. We have tried to be good sports and play along with our human captors, and so long as they treat us with gentle respect, we do quite enjoy it. We have learned to use their temporary bunking system they call crates. We have been introduced to alien creatures they call cats and that was without incident, and we have been well socialized with others of our canine kind in a sort of rumpus room we all meet in during the day. There has been word that a festival, or some sort of event, is to happen this weekend, and that our true calling will be revealed to us. But still we wait. That is all I have to report for now. Kirk and Spock signing out. 6 months old-24lbs. My adoption fee is $240 and includes neuter, microchip, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.
