Facts about Rick

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray Or Blue (Mostly)
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Rick is one adorable cat! He loves attention and will at times stand on someone’s lap for pets, but that doesn’t last long because he is always on the go! Rick is super playful and energetic and is often seen running around the shelter, playing with cat toys or jumping high, trying to catch a feather on a wand. He gets along with other cats, but he also seems to enjoy playing by himself. So he would be great as an only cat or would do great with a buddy.

Rick was found outside and brought to the ER by a Good Samaritan. They contacted us because he was such a sweet guy, but also because he needed medical attention for his eyes. He has eyelid agenesis, which is a condition where his eyelids did not form properly. He has had a couple of surgeries on his eyes so far. He will need a forever home that can provide the future medical care that he may need for his eyes. Right now his eyes look good, but he may need surgery in the future.

Rick is a great guy and is hoping his special person is out there somewhere.
