Blanche's Story...
Blanche is a wonderful 9 year old Yellow Lab. She is a sweet and laid-back lady who loves to be with people. She gets upset when her people are not home so she would be happiest in a home that has someone home most of the day. She is interested in cats and at first would chase after them but since has gotten used to them and is now fine with them. Blanche also enjoys to go outside and explore the back yard but since she is an older gal she spends most of her time relaxing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blanche, a Mount Gretna Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Mount Gretna, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Mount Gretna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Gretna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Gretna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Gretna paves the way for another one to be saved.
